The Low Down on Austin Music Download's Download Cards

 How does this work?

These plastic PVC cards will be printed in full color on the front with redeemtion instructions printed on the back.

Each card will have a unique serial number that is pre-assigned to your music.


Then you sell these cards at your shows for the price of an online album download.

No more hoping that they will find you or your website, no more customer service on CDS or packaging. You sell it and you're done.

 What do I have to do to get my cards?

  1. You will need to have your music uploaded to AustinMusicDownload.com - there's a FAQ on the website so I won't waste your time here going over that. Any agreements you have with other download sites is completely compatible to your agreement with AustinMusicDownload.
  2. Once you have your music uploaded - complete an order form for the cards - you can purchase in either 25, 50 or 100 cards.
  3. To keep our accountant happy - you'll need to pay AustinMusicDownload by Paypal if you wish to use a credit card or you can send a check.
  4. You provide the artwork for the front of your card and we'll email you a template - its full color and you submit it as a jpeg or bmp format - that's a j-peg or a bit-mapped format


During the redeemption process, your fan will have the opportunity to provide their email and we will also email them to confirm their satisfaction at the same time we will encourage them to email you directly. You might even have some special offer like a reduced price for your previous records etc if they provide their information. You know what you can do.
