BILL REID likes to talk about himself in the third person. People hate that. He's been playing & writing music since before you were born, unless you were born before 1963. His solo act is finger-style blues, Americana, and folk. He does grownup songs, and has paid dues you wouldn't believe, but his children's music is the most popular part of his sales and online listening repertoire (after all, he's a grandpa). Bill Diehl, former Minneapolis-St. Paul music columnist, emcee, and radio deejay, once wrote of Bill, ". . . in steady demand . . . Reid possesses a darned impressive talent, and produces a heckuva listening experience."

When he's lucky, outstanding lead guitar player Chris Reeves is there to make him sound better. Every once in awhile, a bunch of other musicians get together and he can fade into the background and just do the vocals.

The new album is A Place Inside My Heart, recorded for the Fewer Sorrows Music label at Timbre Lodge Recording.  It's half original, half covers, and all right.  Chris Reeves, Ron Knuth, and blues giant Tony "Little Sun" Glover, are featured, along with background vocals by Christine Albert and Mike Blakely (hear their own work when you can, right after you've paid attention to ours).
